I've spent most of my life helping people find something they didn't know they were looking for.
It started with sound. I spent my early career as a sound engineer, running house sound for live shows, engineering in-ear mixes for touring acts, chasing the exact moment when a room full of strangers becomes one shared experience. There's something almost sacred about that. You can feel it when it happens.
From there, my path moved into directing technical teams at a university, then into instructional design, and eventually into leading corporate learning and development for a team I genuinely love. Along the way I discovered that what I was really doing, whether behind a soundboard or in front of a room full of leaders, was the same thing every time: helping people connect more deeply with themselves and each other.
I still believe in that work. And I'm also in a season of asking bigger questions about what it means for my own life.
These days I'm deepening my strengths... a yoga practice that's been quietly reshaping me for years, picking up creativity more often, taking my van somewhere I've never been and sitting with what I find there. I'm paying attention to what makes me feel alive, not just accomplished.
This site is where I think out loud. You'll find writing about music, meaning, creativity, and the messy, beautiful work of trying to live on purpose.
I'm glad you're here.
